How early do I need to put my child’s name down to attend The Parish Nursery?

We recommend as soon as possible to secure your place as the nurseries can fill up very fast.

Do you offer settling in visits before starting?

Absolutely! We do not limit the amount of settling in visits. We want to ensure your child is fully comfortable and settled before starting.

What are your opening hours?

We open at 7.30am and we
close at 6pm.

Are the same staff based in each room so there is continuity?

We have set staff in each room on a daily basis and when staff are on holiday or absent  we have familiar staff who cover so there remains continuity for each child.

Are your staff First Aid trained?

All our staff hold paediatric first aid.

My child has a set routine, how will this fit into nursery life?

When children start at nursery we follow their routines to ensure there is a smooth transition from home life to nursery. We work with families to ensure there is a continuity of care.

My child has special educational needs and disability (SEND), can they still attend the Parish Nursery?

Of course, we are a fully inclusive nursery and will adapt our care to the individual needs of each child who attends, where possible.

Do you go for trips/walks?

We love being able to give children new experiences as much as possible. We are always walking in our community or on trips!

How can I pay my childcare fees?

A direct debit form is included with your childcare agreement contract, additionally we accept payment by bank transfer, childcare vouchers, cash and cheques. You can also use tax-free children to receive 20% your childcare monthly bill.
