Our Setting

The Parish Nursery is made up of four large, purpose-built areas, each carefully designed to meet the needs of children at different stages of development:

• Baby Unit – for babies up to 24 months, offering a calm and nurturing start in a cosy, caring environment.

• Lower Tweenies – for children aged 2–3 years, encouraging exploration, independence, and early social skills.

• Upper Tweenies – for children aged 3–4 years, focusing on school readiness through purposeful play and early learning experiences.

Within our setting, we also provide access to separate environments for children to explore, including a sensory roomthat promotes calm and curiosity, and a physical room designed to support movement, balance, and coordination.

Outdoor Learning

Our extensive outdoor area offers children endless opportunities for play, discovery, and adventure. The space includes an adventure trail, a greenhouse area, forest area, tarmac area and undercover sections so that outdoor learning can take place in all weathers. We believe in the importance of fresh air, nature, and physical activity as key parts of a child’s daily routine.

Before & After School Care and Holiday Club

In addition to our nursery provision, The Parish Nursery also offers Before and After School Care and a Holiday Clubfor children aged up to 11 years. These sessions provide a safe, engaging, and friendly environment where children can relax, play, and continue learning outside of school hours and throughout the holidays.
