Children are provided with free-play and structured play to help them towards achieving the Early Learning Goals within the 'Early Years Foundation Stage' Curriculum, in such a way as to make learning fun. This provides an environment for children to acquire independence and confidence to enable them to reach their full potential and learn more about the world around them.
Your child will have their own key person, which is a staff member who is mainly responsible for your child's key needs, building a bond with the child, rapport with yourselves and completing a 'Learning Journey'.
The room has french doors leading out to a decked sheltered area and french doors leading out to the tarmac area. This enables us to provide free-flow supervised access. It has a painting easel which is permanently in use, low level tables and chairs, a home corner, dressing-up, puzzles, story area and many more differing pieces of equipment available for your child.
This room is where toilet training is introduced to the children.
